Job Description
Nursing Assistant Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to a client in their home. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and client's family. The Nursing Assistant will assist with daily living activities, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the client. Client is an 8 year old autistic child with G tube. Staff will be trained in G tube feeding. Part-time, weekdays. Weekends as needed . During school days, caregiver would be needed from 7a till around 8:15am to get child ready for school. Again caregiver would be needed, when child returns from school, from 4pm till 8:15pm . During public holidays Caregiver would be needed from 7am till around 5pm

•Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating . Provide emotional support and companionship to patients Assist with mobility and transfers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care areas Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems Communicate effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals regarding patient needs Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information Participate in training sessions per company policy. Requirements Active CNA License Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and lifting patients when necessary Understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care Join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients.
