About The RoleReady to step into a Tax Manager role in Southern New Jersey with a firm that balances deep historical roots with modern innovation?

We blend traditional tax compliance with forward-thinking business consulting, working across diverse industries-including family businesses, healthcare, sports & entertainment, non-profits, and middle-market enterprises.

In this role, you will manage complex tax engagements, provide strategic tax planning, oversee staff development, and act as a primary advisor to clients and firm leadership in a collaborative, team-centric environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesEngagement Management:
Oversee the review and delivery of complex federal and multi-state tax returns for corporations, pass-through entities, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.
Strategic Advisory:
Partner with clients through key lifecycle events-from startup and expansion to exit planning, wealth transfer, and estate strategies.
Technical Compliance & Research:
Research complex regulatory tax issues, ensure strict adherence to changing tax laws, and present actionable financial recommendations.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Guide, train, and develop junior and senior tax staff, encouraging professional growth and high technical standards.
Business Development:
Identify financial opportunities for existing clients and assist in growing client relationships across specialized industry sectors.
QualificationsCredentials:
Active CPA license required.
Experience:
5+ years of progressive public accounting experience with a strong track record in tax compliance and planning.
Technical Depth:
Deep knowledge of federal and multi-state tax regulations, corporate/partnership taxation, and trust & estate tax concepts.
Core Competencies:
Strong leadership, analytical problem-solving, and direct client relationship management skills.
