Job Description

Robert Half is partnering with a well-established public accounting firm in the Norman area to identify an experienced tax professional for a leadership opportunity. This role combines client advisory responsibilities with team leadership, offering the opportunity to oversee complex tax engagements while building long-term relationships with a diverse client base. The ideal candidate brings a strong public accounting background, a consultative approach to client service, and a passion for mentoring and developing staff..
Responsibilities:
  • Lead tax planning, consulting, and compliance review efforts for businesses and individuals across multiple industries.
  • Manage a portfolio of client engagements, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and service expectations are consistently met.
  • Research complex tax issues and translate findings into practical guidance for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Review corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and strategic tax considerations.
  • Contribute to the leadership of the Norman, Oklahoma practice by participating in management discussions and supporting office objectives.
  • Coach, supervise, and develop tax team members through training, feedback, and day-to-day engagement oversight.
  • Strengthen client relationships by identifying opportunities to expand services and deliver added value.
  • Build visibility in the local business community to support networking, client development, and market presence.
