Opportunity:

My client, one of the most established consumer products companies in the area, is looking to hire a Corporate Tax Manager. This is a highly visible seat inside a growing tax function that touches multiple business lines and entities across a large organization. If you love untangling complex tax structures, this role was built for you. You'll take ownership of federal and state income tax compliance across a multi-entity structure, plus lead the corporate tax provision process. Expect real complexity, large data sets, and cross-functional exposure to accounting, finance, and business leaders across multiple divisions. It's a strong move for someone who wants more scope than a single-entity environment can offer, along with a direct line to strategic tax decisions. If you're ready to bring your SALT and provision expertise into a bigger, more dynamic structure, this is worth a serious look.

Responsibilities:

Own preparation and review of federal and state corporate income tax filings across a multi-entity organization. Lead the ASC 740 tax provision process, including deferred tax analysis, effective tax rate calculations, and reconciliations. Partner directly with accounting and finance leaders across multiple business divisions to resolve complex tax questions. Manage state and local tax matters, including apportionment and multi-state compliance considerations. Serve as the primary point of contact for federal and state tax authority notices, inquiries, and audits. Coordinate with external CPA firm on technical positions and return preparation. Provide tax analysis supporting business forecasts, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
