Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tax Manager and lead the charge in delivering comprehensive tax strategies and compliance solutions. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in corporate and individual tax, estate planning, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. As a Tax Manager, you will oversee complex tax projects, ensure adherence to tax laws and GAAP standards, and provide strategic guidance to clients and internal teams alike. Your energetic approach will drive efficiency, accuracy, and innovative tax solutions that support our organization's financial health and compliance objectives. Duties Lead the preparation and review of tax returns for corporations, individuals, trusts, and estates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws. Manage tax planning initiatives including estate planning, mergers & acquisitions, and investment strategies to optimize client outcomes. Oversee tax reporting processes, including regulatory reporting and financial statement interpretation aligned with GAAP standards. Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements, balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting to support accurate tax filings. Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls related to financial reporting and internal audit procedures. Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders while maintaining high standards of client service. Requirements Proven experience in accounting or finance with a strong focus on tax law, including individual and corporate tax expertise. Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance accounting, technical accounting standards, and financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms. Familiarity with auditing procedures, financial analysis skills, and double entry bookkeeping principles. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and conduct account analysis efficiently. Excellent client communication skills coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Knowledge of estate planning tools such as wills, trusts & estate law is a plus. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
