LEAD A HIGH-LEVEL TAX PRACTICE

We are seeking an experienced Managing Director Tax to lead a growing tax practice for a respected public accounting firm serving individuals and businesses throughout Illinois and the Chicago area.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead complex individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax engagements Oversee tax planning, preparation, review and final delivery Manage, mentor and develop tax professionals Review tax returns and research complex tax issues Provide proactive tax planning and strategic client advice Build and strengthen long-term client relationships Monitor changing federal, state and local tax regulations Improve tax processes, workflow and service quality Partner with firm leadership on strategy, governance and growth Support business development, networking and expansion of services

WHAT YOU BRING CPA

license required Strong expertise in federal, state and local taxation Significant public accounting and tax leadership experience Experience with individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts Strong tax research, planning and technical review skills Proven team leadership, mentoring and performance management experience Excellent client relationship and communication skills Proficiency with tax software, accounting tools and Microsoft Office Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Business development and networking experience is a plus Advanced degree in Taxation or related field preferred
