Job Description

Vaco has partnered with a large multinational organization preparing for a critical state tax compliance period. As a result, they are seeking an experienced Senior Manager or Director-Level Tax Consultant with advanced multistate corporate tax expertise and extensive review experience

Job Title:

Interim Senior Manager/Director-Level Tax Consultant (Multistate Corporate Tax)

Location:

Phoenix, AZ (Remote)

Pay Rate:

$85-110 per hour

Project Duration:

Through October 15th minimum with likely extension through year end

Start Date:

Target 9/14

Responsibilities Include:

Review large multinational federal-to-state tax workpapers Review corporate state income and franchise tax compliance filings across combined, consolidated, and separate-return jurisdictions Review return-to-provision calculations and related journal entries Evaluate state apportionment methodologies, state modifications, and conformity considerations Support tax leadership in meeting critical compliance deadlines and potential automation initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field preferred Senior Manager or Director-level corporate tax experience Alteryx experience strongly preferred Ability to commit to duration and needs of project By submitting to this position, you are agreeing to be included in our talent pool for future hiring for similarly qualified positions.
