Senior Tax Manager Miller & Company, LLP | Whitestone or Syosset, New York | Full-time, on-site We are looking for a clever, collaborative, hands-on tax leader ready to add immediate value for our clients. The Role Miller & Company, LLP is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our team on-site at either our Whitestone or Syosset location in New York. The right person is clever, collaborative, and hands-on, ready to prepare for the unexpected and step in wherever the team needs support. You will add immediate value for our clients and be a crucial part of the firm's success, with the compensation and earning potential to match. What You'll Do Review and prepare tax materials, including 1041, 706, 709, 990, and 5471 filings and GILTI calculations Manage estate, trust, and international tax engagements, including review Research and resolve complex tax problems Lead and manage tax staff Communicate directly and confidently with clients, working independently on their engagements Support forensic engagements, including insurance claims, economic damages, fraud and fidelity, and forensic valuations What You'll Bring CPA preferred At least 10 years of public accounting experience Knowledge of Thomson Reuters UltraTax and CCH Axcess Extensive experience with estates, trusts, and international tax High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall computer literacy Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to lead staff and work independently Compensation and Benefits $150,000 to $185,000, and eligible for performance bonuses Medical, dental, and vision 401(k) profit sharing About Miller & Company, LLP Miller & Company, LLP is a peer-reviewed tax and accounting firm recognized by the business community for its personalized service, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
