Senior Tax Manager | Single Family Office | Up to $200K Base Salary & $250K Total Comp A highly sophisticated, multi-billion-dollar family office in Stamford, CT is looking to add a Senior Tax Manager. This is a newly created leadership role that sits at the intersection of tax, estate planning, trusts, and family office operations, offering far more strategic ownership than a traditional tax compliance position. Rather than preparing tax returns, you'll oversee the entire tax compliance program across a complex network of entities, trusts, and individual returns, partnering with top-tier external CPA firms while serving as the internal expert on the family's structures. You'll also lead high-impact projects involving estate planning, trust administration, investment structuring, family relocations, insurance, and other complex matters that require strong judgment, coordination, and project leadership.
Highlights include:
Newly created, highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO of the Family Office Joining a family office team of ~15 (half front office, half back office) Multi-billion-dollar family office serving multiple generations Significant ownership of tax compliance oversight and strategic family initiatives Opportunity to improve processes and leverage technology across the organization Stamford, CT office with a hybrid schedule (3-4 days per week)
Compensation Range:
$200K - $350K (Base + Bonus)
Requirements :
5+ Years of HNW Individual Tax Experience Experience with Trusts, Estates, Gift Tax, etc... Required CPA or Parts Passed Preferred, Not Required
