Full-time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join a leading public accounting and advisory firm serving high-net-worth individuals, professional services businesses, trusts, partnerships, and related entities. This is a highly client-facing opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with strategic advisory work. The Tax Manager will lead complex tax engagements, provide proactive planning and compliance guidance, manage client relationships, and mentor developing tax professionals. The ideal candidate brings strong public accounting experience, an active CPA license, excellent technical knowledge of individual and pass-through taxation, and the ability to confidently advise sophisticated clients on complex tax matters. What You'll Do Manage and review complex federal and state tax engagements for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, trusts, and related entities. Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, business owners, professional services clients, and other sophisticated clients. Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services involving compensation structures, K-1 allocations, entity structuring, multi-state taxation, and other complex tax considerations. Lead multiple client engagements from planning through completion while managing budgets, workflow, staffing, and deadlines. Review tax returns, workpapers, research, and other engagement deliverables for technical accuracy and quality. Research complex federal, state, and local tax issues and identify tax planning opportunities. Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service. Coordinate with attorneys, wealth advisors, financial professionals, and other outside advisors on client matters. Mentor, develop, and review the work of staff and senior tax professionals. Assist with identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and provide additional advisory services. Stay current on changes in tax legislation, regulations, and relevant technical guidance. Communicate complex tax matters clearly to clients and internal teams. What We're Looking For Active CPA license required. 7+ years of public accounting tax experience. Strong technical expertise in high-net-worth individual taxation, partnerships, trusts, S corporations, and pass-through taxation. Demonstrated experience managing complex tax engagements. Strong client relationship management and advisory experience. Experience leading, mentoring, and reviewing the work of tax professionals. Strong understanding of federal and state taxation. Excellent analytical, research, communication, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple engagements, priorities, and deadlines in a professional services environment. Ability and willingness to work a hybrid schedule from the firm's Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or Hollywood, Florida office. Preferred Qualifications Experience with multi-state and multi-entity taxation. Master's degree in Taxation (MST), Juris Doctor (JD), or LL.M. in Taxation. Experience with ProSystem fx or related tax software. Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses. Experience working with professional services organizations and complex ownership structures. Why Join Us?
