Job Description

A growing regional public accounting firm with more than 40 years of experience is seeking a Tax Manager to join its collaborative and flexible team environment. The firm provides full-service tax and accounting solutions to a diverse client base across industries including life sciences, beverage production, manufacturing, and other emerging sectors. As an independent alliance member of a nationally recognized accounting network, the firm combines strong local market relationships with access to extensive technical resources, professional development opportunities, and nationwide expertise. Responsibilities The selected candidate will prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
Additional responsibilities include:
Conducting tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations Monitoring regulatory developments and communicating impacts to clients and internal teams Providing tax planning and advisory services through financial statement and record analysis Identifying tax-saving opportunities and strategic planning initiatives Advising clients on the tax implications of transactions, investments, and financial decisions Supporting tax audits, audit responses, schedules, and related documentation Assisting with tax provision calculations and financial reporting disclosures Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service Benefits The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support professional growth and work-life balance, including: Competitive paid time off package 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account options Life insurance and disability coverage Reduced summer work schedule with Fridays off Hybrid work environment with flexible scheduling Employee assistance and confidential support resources Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field Master's degree in taxation and/or CPA designation preferred Minimum of 4 years of tax accounting experience in public accounting or corporate tax Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements Experience with tax and accounting software platforms such as CCH Axcess and QuickBooks Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to manage confidential information professionally Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues at all levels
INDCPA Pay:
$100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
