• Summary
• We are seeking an accomplished Tax Manager with Big Four firm and in-house tax department experience, to join our Global Tax Reporting and Compliance Team.

This position, reporting to the Director of Global Income Tax Reporting, will work collaboratively with other members of the team, as well as AeroVironment's accounting and FP&A teams, to prepare the company's quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations, reviewing tax returns and ensuring adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of tax principles and a commitment to accuracy.

• Position Responsibilities
• + Manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns, sales tax returns, and other non-income tax filings.

+ Manage the quarterly and annual tax provision process in accordance with ASC 740. + Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current tax laws and identify potential tax planning opportunities. + Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors. + Develop and implement domestic and international tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities. + Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities. + Stay informed of changes in tax legislation and regulations and assess their impact on the Company. + Ensure accurate and timely payment of all tax obligations.

• Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
• + Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MST strongly preferred).

+ Master's degree in taxation preferred. + Minimum 7-9 years in corporate tax, with at least 2+ years of Big Four experience. + Strong understanding of ASC 740, transfer pricing, and indirect taxes. + Proficient in relevant tax software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle). + Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills. + Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. + Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system and strong Excel skills. + Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• No Clearance The salary range for this role is: $145,000 - $205,800 AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
