Austin, TX Who:
A seasoned tax professional with strong experience in individual and pass-through taxation and proven leadership abilities.

Position Overview:
The Tax Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, lead complex compliance engagements, identify tax planning opportunities, and guide the development of less experienced team members while supporting a diverse client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Solve tax and business challenges for clients in technology, manufacturing, real estate, professional services, and high-net-worth sectors.
  • Manage tax engagements and review complex returns, including tax provision work.
  • Lead and mentor Tax Staff and Seniors in a dynamic work environment.
  • Conduct tax research and apply findings to client matters.
  • Demonstrate strong project management, analytical thinking, communication skills, and superior client service.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's preferred.
  • Active CPA license required.
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong background in individual income taxation, especially for owners of pass-through entities.
  • Deep understanding of pass-through entity structures and general corporate taxation.
  • General knowledge of partnership taxation, including equity investment structures.
