Are you a strategic federal tax professional who enjoys solving complex issues across jurisdictions and countries? Do you have experience with accounting for income taxes, tax advisory, tax compliance, or tax controversy? Deloitte's Business Tax Services practice offers the opportunity to advise leading banking and securities organizations while working at the intersection of tax strategy, global operations, and financial services. Work You'll Do As a Tax Manager in the Financial Services group, you'll provide federal tax consulting and compliance services to large global and dynamic midsize clients in the banking and securities industries. You'll work directly with clients, lead engagement teams, collaborate with Deloitte specialists, and receive strong support from firm leadership as you grow your career. You'll build and maintain trusted client relationships while advising on accounting for income taxes, federal tax planning involving periods, methods, and credits, tax provisions, tax compliance, business restructuring, and tax controversy. You'll oversee complex projects involving multiple entities and affiliates, applying technical tax knowledge and business judgment to analyze issues and develop practical recommendations. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field 5+ years total corporate tax experience One of the following accreditations obtained: Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA If not CPA eligible:

Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA) Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Preferred Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience Banking, securities and/or capital markets experience Strong managerial experience with budgets, people and projects Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills Self-starter and demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple, competing priorities The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,350 to $205,000 You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. btstax
