full-time Dynamic mid size CPA firm with 50+ professionals in Midtown ( in existence over 30 years) is seeking an Estate and Trust Tax Manager. This position is hybrid 2-3 days in office. Review complex federal and state tax returns, including Form 1041 (fiduciary returns), Form 706 (estate tax), and Form 709 (gift tax). Supervise, train, and mentor tax seniors and staff, conducting performance reviews and guiding professional growth. Interpret complex trust agreements, wills, and fiduciary accountings to determine proper tax treatment. Act as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients, cultivating long-term relationships and handling tax controversies or notices. The firm has an outstanding reputation as far as treating their employees and has tremendous advancement opportunities. Salary range is $175,000-$225,000 plus bonus and very good benefits.
