•Responsibilities 1. Lead the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, S corporations, and other business entities. 2. Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize compliance. 3. Provide tax advisory services to HNW individuals, offering insights on tax implications of investment strategies and other financial decisions. 4. Manage client engagements, ensuring high-quality service delivery and maintaining strong client relationships. 5. Oversee tax accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. 6. Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law, providing timely updates and strategic advice to clients. 7. Collaborate with other team members and departments to integrate tax strategies with overall financial planning. Qualifications 1. CPA certification or EA credential is required. 2. Minimum of five years of experience in tax accounting or related field. 3. Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations. 4. Proven experience in managing tax obligations for S corporations and other business entities. 5. Experience in providing tax advisory services to HNW individuals. 6. Demonstrated ability to manage client engagements and maintain strong client relationships. 7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic advice. 8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner. 9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity. This is a hybrid role that combines the technical acumen of tax accounting with the strategic oversight of financial management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, and providing tax advisory services to high-net-worth (HNW) individuals and corporations. The role requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) with a minimum of five years of experience in the industry. Why join us?
