Winston Salem, North Carolina- Hybrid schedule with one to two work from home days per week during non peak seasons

Responsibilities:
- Lead and review complex tax engagements for individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates while delivering proactive tax planning and strategic advisory services
- Oversee day to day tax operations, quality standards, staff development, workflow management, and office performance while collaborating with firm leadership across multiple locations
- Serve as the trusted advisor for key client relationships, identifying planning opportunities, resolving complex tax issues, and delivering exceptional client service
- Mentor, coach, and develop tax professionals through technical guidance, formal reviews, training sessions, and ongoing leadership development
- Drive business development through client relationship expansion, networking, referrals, strategic planning, and collaboration with wealth management and accounting teams
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required, with a Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred
- CPA or EA certification required. CPA or EA candidates with an MBA or MST may also be considered
- Ten or more years of progressive public accounting experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
- Advanced expertise in individual, business, trust, and estate taxation, strategic tax planning, GAAP, and federal and multi state tax regulations
- Proven experience leading teams, managing office operations, developing client relationships, mentoring professionals, and supporting business growth
