Job Description
- US Indirect Tax Manager
- Finance | Reports to US Tax Director | Hybrid — Austin, Denver, or San Francisco

- We are looking for a
- US Indirect Tax Manager
- to lead our US indirect tax compliance and process management.
- What you'll do
- + Manage US indirect tax compliance, including sales and use tax, gross receipts tax, and business licenses + Oversee registrations, renewals, exemption certificates, and compliance calendars + Monitor indirect tax law and regulatory changes + Improve processes to increase efficiency and standardization + Support ERP upgrades with SAP and Technology & Operations teams + Lead indirect tax audits, notices, and controversy matters + Review EPC and MSA contracts and advise on indirect tax implications + Administer OneSource Tax Engine, including content updates, configurations, testing, and support + Support M&A due diligence and ad hoc tax projects •What we're looking for•+ 4-6 years of indirect tax experience + Strong experience in indirect tax compliance and process management + Renewable energy in-house experience preferred + SAP and OneSource Tax Engine experience strongly preferred + Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills + Collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a changing environment •Compensation and benefits•+ •Base salary:•$108,000-$135,000•+ •Annual bonus:•20%•+ Health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage starting day one + Retention bonuses + 4 weeks vacation, 3 weeks sick leave, and 11 paid holidays + 401(k) with 3% nonelective employer contribution + •Hybrid schedule based in our Austin, Denver, or San Francisco offices•+ Monthly phone reimbursement up to $100 and commuter benefit up to $150 •Why Lightsource bp•At Lightsource bp, you'll join an inclusive, collaborative team focused on driving the energy transition.
