KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Washington National Tax - Indirect Tax to join our Washington National Tax (WNT) practice.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with other offices of

KPMG LLP

to provide advice to their clients on indirect taxes

Collaborate with other practice groups in Washington National Tax (WNT) and work with KPMG International member firms

Review and/or draft tax memoranda and tax opinions

Instruct internal firm courses related to indirect taxation

Participate in external client facing events specific to indirect taxes

Draft and review articles and other risk management activities

Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

Minimum eight years of recent experience performing tax research, representing clients and providing technical advice on multi-state tax issues

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

Licensed

CPA, EA, JD/LLM, MST

(master's in taxation) or a certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (CMI) designation for non-CPA eligible candidates, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list
