Responsibilities Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns using tax preparation software and accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Sage, and other financial software. Ensure all tax documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with current tax laws and regulations. Analyze financial data and concepts to optimize tax reporting strategies for clients across various industries. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information, explain tax positions, and answer questions related to their filings. Assist clients with tax planning, deductions, credits, and other strategies to maximize their benefits. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax law changes and industry best practices related to public accounting and tax compliance. Support marketing efforts by engaging with potential clients through outreach and client acquisition initiatives. Experience Previous experience in public accounting or a related field involving accounting and finance is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in individual, partnership, and corporate tax return preparation. Strong understanding of tax law, compliance requirements, and financial concepts relevant to taxation. Proficiency with tax preparation software, accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage, and general financial analysis skills. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to clients. Basic math skills along with 10-key typing proficiency for efficient data entry. Experience in sales or client acquisition activities is a plus; marketing skills are beneficial for expanding client relationships.
