Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant/Tax Preparer to join our financial team. Responsibilities Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and estate tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, including tax reporting requirements Assist clients with tax planning strategies such as estate planning, trusts, wills, and estate law considerations Conduct financial statement preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting using software like QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage Perform audits and internal reviews to verify accuracy of financial data in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) regulations Analyze financial reports to interpret financial concepts, support mergers & acquisitions, or facilitate asset management decisions Maintain thorough documentation of all tax filings, client communications, and regulatory compliance activities Qualifications Proven experience in accounting and finance roles with a focus on tax compliance and reporting Strong knowledge of tax law, individual and corporate tax preparation, and regulatory compliance accounting Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms Experience with auditing processes, financial analysis, account reconciliation, and balance sheet management Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration within teams Ability to interpret financial statements accurately and apply technical accounting principles in diverse scenarios Attention to detail combined with analytical skills to ensure accuracy in all financial activities Join us if you're passionate about leveraging your accounting expertise to deliver exceptional service while growing your career in a vibrant environment dedicated to excellence!
