Our client is seeking a temporary tax preparer. The role requires creating tax accounting adjustments and drafting responses to tax authorities. Our client specializes in handling financial documents for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and entertainment clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Preparation:
Fill out personal, corporate, partnership, and estate or trust tax returns of varying complexity.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare tax accounting adjustments and work papers for client businesses and investments.
IRS Correspondence:
Draft responses to government queries and notices.
Client Advisory:
Identify tax-saving strategies to minimize worldwide tax impacts for clients.
Key Requirements:
Education:
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
Experience in public accounting focusing on multi-state tax filings.
Tech Skills:
Familiarity with tax software (CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). IND-1
