Full Job Description About Us:

We are a tax firm in Bankers Hill seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in-office immediately for the busy season. This is a W-2 position with potential to transition into a year-round role for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing:

Tax Preparation Focus:

Prepare complex individual (1040) and business returns (1120, 1120-S) using Intuit Lacerte . Experience with 1041 / Trust & Estate returns is a major plus.

Streamlined Workflow:

Our on-staff Enrolled Agent (EA) conducts return reviews and handles primary client management.

Client Contact:

Limited direct client communication via phone or email solely to obtain missing tax documents or clarify intake data.

Qualifications:

Software:

Proven, high-level proficiency in Intuit Lacerte is required.

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of active tax preparation experience (1040s & entity returns).

Location:

Must be able to report in-person to our office in Bankers Hill, San Diego .

Compensation & Perks:

Pay Rate:

Starts at $25.00/hour , strongly negotiable upward based on experience and credentials.
