We are looking for a knowledgeable, dependable, and detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working with both individual and business clients. The ideal candidate will have prior accounting and tax preparation experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines. This is a full-time position with an established accounting firm and an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term professional role. Responsibilities Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently Perform general accounting and bookkeeping services for clients Prepare and review financial statements and reports Maintain accurate client records and supporting documentation Assist with payroll and payroll-related reporting, as needed Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts Communicate directly with clients regarding accounting and tax matters Research and resolve accounting or tax-related discrepancies Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and financial information Manage multiple client accounts and deadlines, particularly during tax season Stay current with applicable tax regulations and accounting practices Qualifications Previous professional accounting experience required Previous tax preparation experience required Strong understanding of accounting principles Experience preparing individual and/or business tax returns Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Professional communication and client-service skills Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately Experience with accounting and tax preparation software preferred CPA, EA, or other professional credentials are a plus but are not required for the right experienced candidate.
