This role will transition into a Seasonal Full-Time position during tax season, with the potential to become a permanent full-time role based on performance and team fit. We're seeking someone with prior experience preparing tax returns who is confident working with tax documents, financial statements, and tax software.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare and review individual and small business tax returns using professional tax software Analyze and interpret tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, etc.) Review and understand profit and loss statements and other financial data Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat efficiently Maintain accurate, secure, and organized client records Assist with e-filing, document collection, client follow-up, and general office workflow Communicate with clients in a professional and confidential manner

Qualifications:

Prior experience preparing tax returns is required Familiarity with professional tax software (e.g., TaxSlayer Pro, Intuit ProConnect, Drake, ProSeries, UltraTax, etc.) Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Ability to read and analyze profit and loss statements & other client docs. Attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud storage platforms (Dropbox, SharePoint, etc.) Awareness of current tax law changes and filing procedures A good understanding of
