Job Description:

Gather/organize client data and accurately enter in electronic filing software (UltraTax) Preparation and/or review of individual (1040) tax returns Assisting with year-end tax closing and tax related questions Client outreach to gather information and follow up on status of upcoming tax deadlines Communicating with clients on tax related matters Quarterly tax estimates and year-end tax planning Perform tax research where appropriate Qualifications for

Tax Preparer:

2-3 years of individual tax preparation experience Knowledge of tax laws, tax concepts and familiarity with Form 1040 and all schedules Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
