We are looking for a driven individual that has 2 or more years of experience with accounting and tax preparation to join our rapidly growing practice. We are a small office, close knit office with a very close relationship with our client family. We have been helping clients grow their business and exceed their financial dreams for nearly 40 years. Our team focuses on teamwork, effective communication with the office team and clients, and overall high standards in professionalism.
Job responsibilities:
Data Input for clients specific bookkeeping needs Perform general ledger functions and month end close out processing Prepare federal, multi-state, and local individual, trust, partnership, and S & C corporation income tax returns. Calculate estimates and well as proper explanation of small business financial statements to our clients. Support client staff with training and/or troubleshooting Develop and maintain strong client relationships through quality and timely service and communications.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting and tax preparation Willingness to be trained and coached professionally as well as attend training courses to stay current with everchanging tax law. Experience using tax software such as ATX or other tax software Preferred knowledge with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), QuickBooks desktop and online, Google Docs Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and managing strict deadlines. Excellent work ethic, morals, and positive attitude Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy on reports and communicate these to clients. Ability to work individually and collaborate with others inside the team.
