This position will be responsible for the preparation and advising of individual income tax returns.
Key Result:
Preparing federal and state income tax returns for individuals.
Key Objectives:
Knowledge of federal and state income tax laws Providing tax structure knowledge, best practices and more Advising and recruiting new clients Customer relationship management Participates in business and community functions, and professional, charitable or civic organizations
Key Responsibilities:
You will demonstrate full responsibility for: Tax returns: Prepare and file individual income tax returns Advise clients on withholding, quarterly estimated tax payments, tax strategy and more Research new tax trends and regulations
Customer Service Management:
Responsive communication with clients Deliverables provided on time
Advising:
Knowledge of potential tax impacts Best practices based on industry
Skills and Abilities:
Strong customer relationship skills Responsive Team player Open-minded Driven Resourceful Pays attention to detail
Confidential Thorough Reliable Self-starter Qualifications:
BA/BS in Accounting 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting field Active
PTIN IRS
Enrolled Agent or CPA Preferred Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop Pro and QuickBooks Online versions Preferred Interest in learning Nonprofit (990) and Trust (1041) returns
