Responsibilities Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses. Analyze financial information to identify potential deductions and credits. Review client documents for accuracy and completeness. Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks and Sage for efficient tax preparation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and explain tax-related matters. Assist clients in understanding their tax obligations and provide guidance on financial planning. Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks related to tax documentation. Experience Previous experience in public accounting or as an account clerk is preferred. Familiarity with financial sales concepts is a plus. Proficiency in using financial software, particularly QuickBooks and Sage. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
