We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented 1099 Independent Contractor Tax Preparers to serve clients in all 50 states . This is a remote opportunity open nationwide, with local opportunities also available in the Dallas, Texas area. Whether you are new to tax preparation or an experienced preparer looking for stronger systems and support, we provide the resources to help you deliver excellent client service and grow your client base. What You'll Do Prepare individual tax returns accurately and efficiently. Communicate with clients to gather documentation, answer questions, and identify potential deductions and credits. Help clients understand their tax filing options and next steps. Build and maintain a client pipeline using provided marketing resources and leads. Performance-based compensation:

Earn per completed return; payments are issued weekly based on processed returns and company payment procedures.

Training and mentorship:

Access to Drake Tax, Tax Dome, and workflow guides or similar software.

Marketing and client-growth support:

Print and digital marketing materials, local directory placement, and potential client leads as available. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail, organization, and basic math/financial literacy. Clear, professional communication and a client-service mindset. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently. Willingness to learn tax-preparation processes and use marketing tools to develop a client base. Prior tax-preparation experience is helpful but not required; training is available.
