REMOTE TAX PREPARER TRAINEE TAX SEASON 2027

Brooks & Moore Tax Services is accepting motivated individuals for our Remote Tax Preparer Trainee Program for Tax Season 2027. Whether you're new to tax preparation or looking to expand your financial services skills, this opportunity is designed to provide training, onboarding, and team support to help you develop practical skills in the tax industry. No prior tax preparation experience is required. Training and onboarding support are available for qualified candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with tax preparation under appropriate supervision Learn federal and applicable state tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements Prepare individual tax returns and basic business returns Learn to use professional tax software and financial tools Complete PTIN registration and applicable training requirements Communicate professionally with clients and team members Maintain accurate client records and documentation Follow IRS and company compliance procedures Support clients throughout the tax preparation process Participate in continuing education and professional development

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong desire to learn and grow professionally Excellent communication and customer service skills Basic computer and data-entry skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Reliable internet connection Professional attitude and attention to detail Willingness to follow tax and client confidentiality requirements
