In this role, you will assist clients in preparing and filing their tax returns accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations. Your expertise will help clients maximize their refunds and minimize liabilities while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in tax preparation, accounting software, and financial analysis within a fast-paced environment committed to professional growth. Must have a current PTIN. Responsibilities Prepare individual, business, and corporate tax returns with precision, adhering to all relevant tax codes and regulations Gather and analyze financial documents such as W-2s, 1099s, receipts, and bank statements to ensure accurate reporting Utilize accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, or other financial tools to organize data and streamline the filing process Conduct thorough review of client information to identify deductions, credits, and potential savings opportunities Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax laws and industry standards to provide accurate guidance Communicate effectively with clients to explain complex tax concepts clearly and answer questions regarding their filings Support clients with bookkeeping, financial analysis, and general accounting needs as required Assist in marketing efforts by promoting our services to new prospects through excellent customer service and professional engagement Skills Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial concepts, and tax regulations Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting environments is highly desirable Excellent math skills with the ability to perform detailed calculations quickly and accurately (10 key typing experience preferred) Effective analysis skills for reviewing financial data and identifying discrepancies or opportunities for savings Customer service-oriented mindset with clear communication skills for explaining technical information simply Knowledge of bookkeeping practices, technical accounting standards, and financial sales strategies Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us if you're passionate about helping clients navigate their financial journeys!
