Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time / Seasonal Tax Preparer to join our team. If you are interested in working during tax season and other extended tax deadlines throughout the year with minimal hours during the summer months and holidays, this could be the perfect job for you. Name your schedule! Duties Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns using Lacerte Tax software and accounting tools such as QuickBooks Review financial documents, including W-2s, 1099s, and other tax-related forms, to ensure accuracy and completeness Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and clarify tax-related questions Provide support to the Senior Tax Staff Stay updated on current tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure accurate reporting Requirements Previous public accounting experience preparing tax returns CPA license is a plus, but not required Experience using MS Office, QBooks and Adobe in a paperless work environment We value energetic professionals who are committed to accuracy, compliance, and delivering outstanding service in a collaborative environment.
