San Diego, CA Compensation:
$22.00 - $23.50 an hour, plus incentives Actual compensation within this range will be determined by factors including experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and other job-related considerations permitted by law.

This position is part-time. As a Senior Teller, you'll serve as both a teller and platform representative, providing members with comprehensive financial support and guidance. Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including: Deposits Withdrawals Transfers Loan payments Wire transfers Official checks Cash advances Gift cards Open new accounts, shares, and credit card accounts. Conduct needs-based conversations to identify products and services that best fit members' financial goals. Educate members on digital banking tools and self-service channels. Follow up with members to ensure satisfaction and uncover additional opportunities to help. Support branch and individual sales goals through referrals and cross-selling that genuinely benefit members. Operations & Compliance Balance cash drawers and support end-of-day branch balancing activities. Prepare account-opening and credit card documentation accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Protect member information and company assets by following all security procedures. Maintain knowledge of products, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including BSA compliance. Assist team members with research and resolving balancing discrepancies. Participate in branch meetings, community events, and sales initiatives. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least:
12 months of retail and/or customer service experience, or 6 months of experience in a financial institution or similar industry. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Cash handling experience. Sales or cross-selling experience. Experience in a retail banking or credit union environment.
