Teller (Full-time) Stafford Savings Bank is a mutual savings bank in the community of Stafford Springs CT. We are seeking an individual with Teller experience to join our team. This position is all-encompassing which requires the individual to be self-motivated and able to make sound decisions under pressure.

Overview:

Serves the public and promotes good customer relations. Performs a wide variety of transactions to service customers in conformance with established Bank policies and procedures. Ability to listen well and follow detailed instructions. Ability to work under pressure. Potential to expand duties. Perform a variety of customer maintenance requests and inquiries (address change, stop payment, research requests etc.). Provide a variety of transactions to service the customer, including but not limited to processing deposits and withdrawals, wire transfers, bond redemption, account opening, etc. Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations as well as bank policies.

Qualifications required:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year in banking industry. Strong customer service skills. Customer relationship building skills. Windows and keyboard proficiency. Teller can work at any of the three branches located in Stafford Springs, CT. The Bank shall, in its discretion, modify or adjust the position to meet the company's changing needs. Benefits offered for full-time status include medical insurance, as well as pension and 401(k) subject to certain eligibility requirements.
