Bank Teller Location:
Jacksonville, FL 32244
Schedule:
Monday to Saturday (one weekday off if scheduled to work Saturday)
Pay Rate:
Starting at $21.42/hour

On-site Branch Environment Job Overview We are seeking a customer-focused Bank Teller to provide exceptional service to members and prospective members. In this role, you will assist customers with a variety of financial products and services, including deposit accounts, lending products, and debit/credit card services. The ideal candidate is confident, personable, detail-oriented, and enjoys building relationships with customers while identifying solutions that meet their financial needs. Key Responsibilities
+ Deliver outstanding member service by assisting customers with account inquiries and transactions.
+ Open and maintain checking, savings, certificates, IRA, trust, estate, and other deposit accounts.
+ Process financial transactions accurately, including cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
+ Educate customers on available financial products and services and make recommendations based on their needs.
+ Support lending-related inquiries and assist with credit and debit card services.
+ Perform data entry and maintain accurate account records.
+ Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
+ Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
+ Contribute to branch goals through member engagement and service excellence. Qualifications
+ Previous customer-facing experience required.
+ Cash handling experience preferred.
+ Banking, financial services, retail sales, or customer service experience highly preferred.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships with customers.
+ Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
+ Strong administrative, organizational, and data entry skills.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience
+ Prior banking or financial institution experience.
+ Account management experience.
+ Sales or retail sales background .

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.42 - $21.42/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
