Job Description
Branch Teller
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Receives members personally and by telephone. Assists members in general and in financial transactions with the credit union. Assists members with deposits and withdrawals. Receives cash and checks for deposit to shares, and share draft accounts, for payment on loans and miscellaneous transactions. Issues, collects funds and accounts for sale of credit union money orders, travelers checks, and cashier's checks. Operates teller computer terminal for member status information, maintenance and/or financial input transactions. Balances cash drawer and summarizes counter activity. Applies funds and issues receipts for miscellaneous payments. Performs related teller duties. Tellers who unutilized time during their regular scheduled work hours may be assigned by management other work that they are qualified and trained to perform for full utilization.
