Overview Join our dynamic transportation team as a Driver, where your expertise will keep goods moving efficiently and safely across diverse routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. As a vital link in our logistics chain, you will be responsible for transporting freight over the road (OTR), managing cargo handling, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Duties Operate commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across OTR driving routes Load and unload freight safely, utilizing manual handling techniques and proper equipment to manage logistics cargo handling Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols Drive with a focus on safety, maintaining adherence to DOT regulations, hazard regulations, and FMCSA guidelines during all phases of transportation Manage truck loading and unloading processes with precision, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport Maintain accurate documentation for delivery records, logs, and compliance reports in line with regulatory standards Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving or freight transportation with a focus on route driving and truck driving responsibilities Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for hazardous materials (Hazmat), tanker, or other specialized loads preferred Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles and tractor-trailers with manual handling proficiency Knowledge of GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, and automobile transportation methods Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for commercial trucking Ability to load & unload cargo safely while adhering to truck loading/unloading procedures Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record and commitment to safety at all times Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a real impact!
