What You'll Do As a Teller / New Accounts Representative, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for our customers.
Responsibilities include:
Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional, and personalized service Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently Open and service consumer deposit accounts Assist customers with account questions, maintenance, statements, and other banking needs Issue and provide support for debit cards, including PIN changes and maintenance Assist customers with online and mobile banking, including login issues, PIN resets, and mobile deposits Assist with wire transfer requests and other banking services Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate Bank products and services Build positive relationships with new and existing customers Complete required account documentation and ensure paperwork is submitted accurately and timely Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to provide excellent customer service Contribute toward individual and team goals Follow Bank policies, procedures, security requirements, and applicable banking regulations Perform other duties as needed
What We're Looking For Required:
High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of previous banking experience Availability to work approximately 20-25 hours per week Flexible availability during the Bank's hours of operation, including Saturdays Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable using computers and learning banking systems Ability to manage multiple customer needs in a fast-paced retail banking environment
Preferred:
3+ years of banking experience Previous teller and/or new accounts experience Experience opening and servicing consumer deposit accounts Familiarity with online banking, debit card servicing, wire transfers, and account maintenance Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Why Join Us?
