POSITION SUMMARY
The Teller works in a fast-paced, fun environment with opportunities for advancement. Tellers provide a variety of teller account services such as handling deposits, withdrawals, payments, greeting customers and maintaining accounts. The candidate should provide a professional image and be the face and voice of our company. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to work in a relationship business; get to know customers and genuinely care about their financial well-being by providing solutions to meet their needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Process financial transactions accurately and timely in a friendly and professional manner. The variety of transactions may be completed via the lobby, drive-thru, night-drop, mail, or ATM. Balance daily work and assigned cash drawer, and research differences where applicable. Actively listen to our customers, and communicate in a friendly, positive manner always, even in difficult situations. Demonstrate quality customer service by incorporating the Legendary Service Standards. Recognize and interpret customer needs and cross-sell bank products/services ensuring recommendations are customer centric to meet the needs of the customer. Make referrals to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services. Actively participate in the branch sales program and goal achievement. Perform teller functions in accordance with established bank policies, procedures, and regulations. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Monday
  • Friday 8:30 a.m.
  • 5:15 p.m. with rotating Saturdays 8:45 a.m.
  • 12:15 p.
m. flexibility required, with no overtime unless approved by management. Additional hourly floater incentive pay applies for this position. High school Diploma or GED Certificate. Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred. Basic math skills, Intermediate PC and typing skills, and the ability to count U.S. currency required. Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy required. Strong customer relations skills and ability to communicate and work well with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive manner. Must enjoy customer interactions including actively looking for referral opportunities in a customer-centric manner. Ability to stand for long periods of time and ability to lift 20 lbs.
