The Teller is a key member of the Rudy's Smokehouse guest service team and is responsible for creating an exceptional first and last impression for every guest. This position requires a friendly, professional attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide accurate, efficient service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Tellers are responsible for accurately taking orders, processing payments, assisting guests with menu questions, maintaining clean and organized guest areas, and ensuring every order meets Rudy's standards before it reaches the customer. must be 16 and older. Greet every guest in a friendly and professional manner. Accurately take dine-in, carryout, and phone orders. Operate the POS system and process cash, credit card, and gift card payments. Maintain strong knowledge of the menu and answer guest questions. Verify all orders for accuracy before they are given to the guest. Package and organize carryout orders correctly. Communicate guest requests and concerns to the appropriate team member or manager. Keep the teller station, dining room, condiment areas, Watering Hole, and restrooms clean, stocked, and guest-ready. Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift. Follow all food-safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and company procedures. Complete assigned opening, shift-change, and closing duties. Support other team members as needed to maintain efficient restaurant operations.
