MANAGER/SR HEAD TELLER/HEAD TELLER GENERAL SUMMARY
Serves as Head Teller weekly all day on Thursday and when scheduled Head Teller is off, responsible for overseeing teller operations at the branch office. This positions both an individual and team contributor to following and demonstrating the very Core Values of the Credit Union in an ethical and sound manner. Operates a teller window daily. Any other duties as needed to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this credit union.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Actively educates members on services or products, discussing the benefits and features and how they may simplify their financial life, making it easier to do business with us. Handle member problems and instant issue calls. Serves as a teller daily performing routine member transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, loan/visa payments, cash advances, check cashing and transfers. Participates and actively promotes Credit Union promotions/cross-sell and explain services offered by the Credit union. Responsible for ordering currency from the Federal Reserve. Verify cash shipment with Head Teller, and ATM balancing in rotation with Head Teller/Manager. Committed to be part of and promote the positive culture of the

Performs and helps at other branch locations, as necessary. When acting Head Teller Oversee teller operations at the Branch office by assigning work, answering questions, solving problems, and helping with complex transactions with positive attitude ensuring zero negativity at the branch office. Ensure that tellers understand and follow policies and procedures relating to their work areas. Evaluate job performance for quality of work and service to members. Recommend disciplinary action in accordance with established policies. Cover Head Teller lunch by opening any new accounts. Handle member problems in house/phone, instant issue check card. Provide training to tellers on new products and services and changes in processes and operations. Schedule branch staff to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours. Monitor office activity, including number of transactions, volume, teller errors, etc. Monitor workflow and individual workloads in teller area, making adjustments when necessary. Maintain log of teller operations, transactions, overages, shortages, and prepare associated reports. Assist employees finding errors when out, balancing cash and checks. Responsible to stay at end of day until all tellers are balanced.
