Position Summary As a Teller, you will serve as the face of Mid Carolina Credit Union by delivering outstanding service to members through accurate transaction processing, problem-solving, and product education. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, are detail-oriented, and have a passion for providing exceptional member experiences. What You'll Do Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing. Accurately balance a cash drawer and maintain transaction integrity. Provide prompt, friendly, and professional service in the branch, drive-thru, and over the phone. Answer member questions and resolve account-related inquiries. Identify member needs and recommend appropriate credit union products and services. Support branch operations by assisting coworkers and contributing to team goals. Maintain confidentiality and comply with credit union policies and procedures. Help create a welcoming and positive environment for members and team members. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic math proficiency and attention to detail. Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude. Preferred Qualifications Previous teller, banking, credit union, retail, or cash-handling experience. Experience working directly with customers or members. Knowledge of financial products and services.
