Branch Manager Position Summary Represents Decatur County Bank / West TN Bank in a courteous and professional manner while delivering prompt, efficient, and accurate service on all teller transactions. This position is responsible for the day-to-day service and sales functions required to sustain a high standard of customer satisfaction for consumer and commercial customers, including operational duties, referral activity, and quality control functions as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintains a working knowledge of retail products, services, procedures, and regulations applicable to teller operations Identifies customer financial needs and refers appropriate Bank products and services accordingly Processes all teller transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, issuance of cashier's checks, and night depository and mail deposits Balances teller drawer, vault, and ATM daily and resolves discrepancies within the same business day Opens and closes the branch in accordance with established security procedures Handles large cash transactions in compliance with BSA/AML requirements, including CTR thresholds and dual control procedures Assists with branch audits and the preparation of branch reports Participates in branch and all-staff meetings, including training sessions, to remain current on policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and promotional campaigns Performs additional teller line duties as assigned by Branch Management Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Communicates clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing Exercises sound, independent judgment in resolving problems and escalates issues appropriately Organizes and prioritizes work to meet deadlines under time constraints Manages multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy Performs duties independently with minimal supervision Maintains a professional, customer-focused demeanor at all times Reads, comprehends, and applies instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Physical Requirements Requires the ability to stand for extended periods throughout branch hours Requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs (coin and cash bags) Requires manual dexterity sufficient for cash handling and keyboard use Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum one year of banking and customer service experience preferred Equal Employment Opportunity Decatur County Bank / West TN Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
