Duties Handle daily cash transactions with precision, including deposits, withdrawals, and cashing checks while maintaining an accurate cash drawer. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients warmly, answering inquiries, and guiding them through banking procedures. Process various banking transactions efficiently using banking software and ensure compliance with all financial regulations. Promote and upsell banking products such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards to meet customer needs and enhance their financial well-being. Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring account activity and adhering to industry best practices for security. Manage customer relationships by understanding their financial goals and offering tailored solutions to foster long-term loyalty. Maintain thorough documentation of transactions, adhere to cash management protocols, and ensure compliance with banking policies. Experience Prior experience in customer service or retail sales is highly valued; familiarity with banking or financial services is a plus. Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and banking software systems. Basic math skills including retail math, cashiering, debits & credits, and 10-key typing for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of financial compliance standards, industry regulations, and banking regulatory requirements. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial products clearly and confidently. Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately, process cash transactions efficiently, and manage cash drawers securely.
