Responsibilities:
- Process deposits, withdrawals, checks, cashier's checks, money orders, and other member banking transactions while verifying identification, signatures, endorsements, and transaction accuracy.
- Provide exceptional member service by welcoming members, managing lobby traffic, scheduling appointments, and identifying financial needs and appropriate banking solutions.
- Balance cash drawers, maintain cash inventories, prepare monies for deposit or shipment, order cash supplies, and maintain accountability for vault and dual-control access.
- Maintain branch security and follow opening and closing procedures while protecting negotiables and confidential records.
- Follow Bank Secrecy Act and company procedures, including identifying unusual or fraudulent activity, completing required reports, and meeting all mandatory compliance deadlines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling experience required.
- Previous experience working directly with the public required.
- Minimum one (1) year of member service, financial services, or similar retail experience preferred.
