Geriatrics Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician the person will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner.Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. Graduation from a technical program preferred.MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in Physical Therapy clinic preferred.REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.ABOUT OAKBEND
