Assumes responsibility for the efficient, effective, and accurate performance of Teller functions. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective, professional business relations with members.NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with area personnel and with management. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
High school graduate or equivalent is required.Required Knowledge:
Knowledge of the fundamentals of quality customer service. Currency and check handling knowledge is required for full-time positions.Experience Preferred:
Extensive customer service experience. Minimum one year experience handling currency and checks is required for full-time positions.Skills/Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Professional appearance and attitude. Must be comfortable and proficient with technology devices and services and able to effectively communicate with members through video in a professional member-engaging manner. Good math skills. Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment including personal computer, adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, coin and money counting machines, and telephone. Good typing/data entry skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
None Preferred Knowledge:
Currency and check handling knowledge is preferred for part-time positions. Basic understanding of financial operations is preferred. Knowledge of teller operations is preferred for full-time positions.Experience:
Minimum six months experience handling currency and checks is preferred for part-time positions. Teller or related experience is strongly preferred.Skills/Abilities:
Ability to fluently speak and read in both English/Spanish.PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION STOOPING
