Your expertise in driving various passenger vehicles, including vans and shuttle buses, combined with your CNA skills, will ensure our clients receive respectful, timely, and comfortable transportation services. Duties Safely operate passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttle buses, and limousines on local routes, adhering strictly to traffic laws and state transportation regulations. Transport clients to medical appointments, social outings, and other scheduled destinations with professionalism and courtesy. Assist clients with boarding and disembarking vehicles, providing support for those with mobility challenges or special needs. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and ready for service. Communicate effectively with clients to confirm schedules, provide updates, and address any special requirements or concerns. Follow all safety protocols related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and passenger safety standards. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, client interactions, and vehicle maintenance records for compliance purposes. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or bus driver with a strong understanding of local driving routes and GPS navigation tools. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., driver license), with a clean driving record. CNA certification or equivalent medical transportation experience demonstrating compassionate client care skills. Familiarity with passenger van operation, chauffeur driving, paratransit services, and shuttle driving procedures. Knowledge of manual handling techniques and heavy lifting safety standards required for assisting clients. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and dispatch personnel. Ability to adhere to all traffic regulations and state transportation laws consistently.
