POSITION SUMMARY
The Part-Time Floater provides branch coverage and member service support, primarily in the Tyler area, but may be assigned to other Telco Plus Credit Union locations based on staffing needs. Part-time hours and branch assignments may vary from week to week. The employee may work at multiple branches in one day and performs teller, account service, and other branch support duties as assigned. Saturdays are expected
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Travel between all five branch locations and report to the assigned branch as scheduled.
  • Work at more than one branch during a scheduled workday when coverage needs require it.
  • Remain flexible when branch assignments, reporting times, or schedules change due to operational needs.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and flexible availability, including Saturdays as scheduled, to support changing branch coverage needs.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, check cashing, and other member transactions accurately.
  • Open and maintain member accounts in accordance with Credit Union procedures.
  • Assist members with account questions, products, services, and routine problem resolution.
  • Support consumer loan applications and related documentation as trained and authorized.
  • Balance cash, maintain transaction records, and follow established cash-handling controls.
  • Identify member needs and recommend appropriate Credit Union products and services.
  • Follow the direction and daily work assignments of the Branch Manager at the assigned location.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all Credit Union policies, security procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Complete required training and cross-train in teller, account service, and other branch functions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Previous cash-handling, customer service, financial institution, or related experience preferred.
Language:
Bilingual skills, particularly English/Spanish, are a plus but are not required.
Transportation:
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between all five branch locations as assigned are required.

  • Strong member service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn and consistently follow procedures used across multiple branch locations.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules, assignments, and work environments.
  • Accuracy in cash handling, data entry, documentation, and account maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively with different branch teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and use computers and standard office equipment.
